“La Dicha”

Dam: La Estampa de Valparaiso
Date of Birth: June 20, 2003

La Dicha’s dam, Estampa, has a great combination of Colombian and Puerto Rican bloodlines.  She is one of the few daughters left of the great sire, Carmin, and her bloodlines on the dam's side include Kofresi, Batalla, and Mr. Puerto Rico.  Carmin was a great stallion out of Resorte IV.  Estampa's mother's dam is Lorenzia, who is a full sister to Kopeki.  Kopeki is the sire of the mother of Arco Iris, the colt that won at Spectrum in the Classic Fino category.  Arco Iris is out of Capuchino and a Classico mare and of a Kofresi daughter.  An offer of $400,000 was turned down for Arco Iris!
